Tec-Verse 2025 Presents Over 150 Cutting-Edge Technological Breakthroughs by MeitY R&D for Health, Agri, and Telecom
Tec-Verse 2025, hosted by MeitY's C-DAC, C-MET, and SAMEER, showcases over 150 homegrown technologies, featuring 27+ product unveilings/ToTs/MoUs focused on elevating India into a product-centric deep-tech juggernaut.

On June 27, 2025, S. Krishnan, Secretary of MeitY, officially launched Tec-Verse 2025, a two-day exhibition uniting leading R&D institutions such as C-DAC, C-MET, and SAMEER. The event featured over 150 homegrown deep-tech innovations aimed at tackling real-life challenges across healthcare, agriculture, telecommunications, and various other fields.
During the inaugural session, S. Krishnan stressed the necessity of early collaboration with industry to ensure research findings meet market requirements. He stated that this initiative represents a strategic transition for India, evolving from a service-exporting country to a global frontrunner in cutting-edge product development. He underscored the significant role of MeitY institutions in establishing foundational models, high-performance computing capabilities, and specialized technologies for healthcare and agriculture.
More than 1,000 participants, including officials from MeitY, representatives from IIT Ropar, Applied Materials, and leading industry figures, observed the announcement of four new product launches, eight technology transfers, and fifteen memorandums of understanding (MoUs). Collaborations were forged with companies like BEL, TCS, L&T Ltd, and Voltix Semicon, focusing on applications within Industry 4.0, sovereign cloud infrastructures, LTCC packaging, and next-gen electronics.
Additional Secretary Amitesh Kumar Sinha highlighted the diverse range of showcased technologies, covering quantum systems, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, power electronics, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 6G communications, semiconductors, atmospheric instrumentation, industrial tools, and energy solutions.
Tec-Verse 2025 is the inaugural edition of MeitY's annual display aimed at harmonizing publicly funded R&D with the innovation landscape, supporting India's aspiration for Viksit Bharat 2047. This event accentuates the government's commitment to transforming high-caliber research into market-ready solutions while fostering a self-sufficient and globally competitive deep-tech industry.
